Driving mechanics are still very bad, just like the first game. I have to mention that I LOVE the way Marcus moves. The characters moves feel so realistic, the motion capture is amazing.

However after playing for a few hours I began to understand that the story in Watch Dogs 2 is lame even though the gameplay and hacking mechanism saw a significant improvement. Also, Watch Dogs 2 is a lot easier than the first one. I had hard times playing the first one on normal difficulty but even in "Realistic" difficulty mode I was completing every missions on Watch Dogs 2 easily. Also, it seemed like the police stopped chasing me after a certain amount of time whereas in the first one the police would chase even for an hour if I could not shake them off. Lastly, I found some bugs that made me exit from the game and start the mission again.Overall, Watch Dogs 2 is a good game with very good gameplay and open world design. But I could not finish it because of a lack of motivation to continue as the story was lame. Otherwise, it could have been a 10/10 for me.

Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

My only problem was the puzzles, while they're not super hard, I would like the option to skip them when I replay, sometimes I just wasn't in the mood for them. But I did feel great when i figured out a difficult one. I love the melee take downs (how that pool ball on a rope is non lethal I have no idea) and the options you have when contemplating your approach. Also I love that being spotted is not an auto fail, you can fight your way out if you can manage to isolate each guard. The drones are great for those hard to reach places that seem impossible in early game. The skill tree feels confusing but there are some great things to invest in. I really liked the character of Marcus and the hackers, especially when compared to some other ubisoft game characters (like those unrelatable douchbags from farcry 3). This game is super refreshing, I look forward to playing another (never played WD1). Only problem was I had one mission that kept crashing near the end so i never got around to finishing but I did get over 50 hours of playtime and will probably just start over again because I really love this game

I have already put many hours into this game and I still have plenty of things to mess around with.The level of detail on this game can not be put into words. Every nook and cranny that I peeked into was detailed and beautiful! The world that Ubisoft has created truly feels alive and is brimming with character. There is a decent amount of content, and the dynamic between the characters is great at every moment.Now, the game isn't perfect, but i'm still giving it a 10. To start things off, Marcus seems to fit in way too quickly. Day one, he's already everyone's best friend just for completing initiation. But the cheery vibe is nothing to complain about. Another thing that I don't enjoy is the obsession with roofs.I like a puzzle, but having every single mission in the game on a roof is ridiculous (i'm exaggerating). Traffic is a bit annoying as well. Since you can interact with the world via r/c, doing things from your car is very tempting. Good in the sense that It has a good selection to choose from and you always have a gun that caters to your play style. Bad in the sense that there are a lot of guns that don't need to be there, like the base semi auto rifle. Why would you use it when you have a DMR, which is more accurate, shoots just as fast, has a scope, and hits harder? Or maybe a fully automatic rifle?There is a fine selection of vehicles, but maybe not enough supercars or vehicles that go unbelievably fast. The driving physics are amazing. You always feel in control, and pulling the handbrake and powersliding around corners is easy and is the best feeling you can have during your ride. The game is forgiving when it comes to things like hitting pedestrians and other cars. If you hit a parked car with your fender, you will usually just slide around it. Offroading can be a bit frustrating with your car flying around in a bunch of varyingt directions the second you get air. Also, I would rather ride a bent unicycle with no seat in oncoming traffic before I touch a Quad Bike in this game. They are good in straight lines, but long corners and small jumps obliterate any sense of control in that thing.Stealth in this game is great, but not perfect. When it comes to the bare sneaking around, it's great. There are plenty of angles and ways to get around. Taking people down with a bit of paracord and a cue ball is very satisfying. The Stun gun is god tier and should not be taken lightly. Detection is pretty forgiving and depends on range, so you won't encounter bs like a random guard 100 meters behind you that you couldn't calculate on finding you. Upon getting detected, the game kind of confuses me. If I am driving along in a go kart and ramp into a restricted area by mistake, I shouldn't get a heavy dose of lead and shrapnel from San Francisco's most sketchy security force. And on top of that, they are a bit grenade happy.Combat is solid, and the aim assist is the best i've ever seemi accept that Ubisoft wanted to go for a game that you can approach from any angle, but having no penalty from killing people just seems a bit odd. That implies that every single person that follows Dedsec is perfectly fine with mass murderers with fancy smartphones killing everyone in their path just to prove a weak point.The actual story, I like. I play games not to read into them, but to just enjoy.Personally, I don't like the multiplayer aspect because it seems like too much of a hassle. The game is well -rounded without people trying to steal my data that I don't care about. Luckily, there was an option to turn it off. Having online missions crowd my other missions is annoying though. I don't like open world multiplayer, at least not in the way anyone has implemented it yet. Especially GTA Online.Speaking of GTA online, people try to compare WD2 to GTA5 a lot, and with good reason. GTA's world is massive, diverse, lively, and has a lot of character in it. Watch_Dogs 2 is definitely a good game, especially compared to the first one which was a dull game. It’s got a lot of personality, especially in terms of the cast of characters, and humour is always welcome in open world titles. The missions may generally boil down to “go somewhere, sneak past/shoot guards, hack something, get out” but they cover fun subjects and are never less than entertaining. Nevertheless the online side is aggravating as all hell, the controls aren’t quite receptive enough particularly when driving or shooting, and being able to kill loads of people doesn’t really jive with the DedSec ethos.

Ubisoft once again fails to tell an engaging story, instead mixing a somewhat confused, even boring plot with bland characters. While Watch Dogs 2 is near-perfect PC port with lots of PC-specific options both for graphics as well as controls, the underlying game wastes a lot of potential. The beautiful rendition of San Francisco is a great background for some neat hacking tricks and fun missions, yet, aside from the shift in tone, Watch Dogs 2 isn’t the anticipated step forward for the series.

If you love games that offer superb gameplay and can live with the fact that the story might not be as great as other open-world titles, then Watch Dogs 2 is a must-buy.

It feels like a cheap GTA knock off that adds in some juvenile characters with little to no emotional value and no multiplayer (as of yet). That doesn't mean that what is there is isn't somewhat enjoyable, because it is. While the game controls are a bit more complex, they still feel responsive, and while the plot and missions are almost meaningless, the fact that they take you through a beautiful city is worth every minute spent.

Watch Dogs 2 manages to improve on almost every point that made its predecessor so disappointing. It’s a more robust open-world game, packed with meaningful content and mechanics that beg the player to experiment and toy with them. Though it still hangs onto some facets a little too tightly, this is one sequel that manages to make its opening act seem like a mistake best left forgotten.

Despite some undeniable improvements in terms of art direction and the underlying soul of the concept, Watch_Dogs 2 is still a sloppy product. With the persistence of AI oddities, dull graphics and physics, stereotypical plot and character design, conspicuous asset recycling, serious online problems and so on, Watch_Dogs 2's lack of polish stops it from achieving excellence once again.

Watch Dogs 2’s distinctive hacking and puzzle mechanics do a great job of reminding you that you’re not playing just another Grand Theft Auto clone as you tear through it’s beautiful Bay Area map. Marcus is a bit too friendly of a guy to be believable as our instrument of mayhem, but the flexible missions let you get through mostly non-violently if you’re good enough at stealth. And when it works, multiplayer is good unconventional cat-and-mouse fun, too.

Ubisoft has refined Watch Dogs 2 into not only a more polished continuation of the first game, but an admirable sandbox in its own right. I was pleasantly surprised by its conversion to a campier experience and dedication to solid gameplay mechanics, and will have no problem tracking down every little selfie and side mission in the Bay Area for many hours to come.

For now, what looks at first like a few hopeful steps forward for this fledgling franchise turns out to be too much shuffling sideways. The protagonist is more interesting, the writing and voice acting vastly improved, and the tactical components more intricate and differentiated. But it’s too easy and tempting to exploit the most powerful among the latter, to play ants off ants ad nauseam, or just go in guns-a-blazin’, a blithe and hypocritical madman.

The Story is currently flowing well and the gameplay is extremely fluid. Everything wrong about Watch Dogs 1 is gone or improved the hacking is also SO much better, allowing more fun and dynamic gameplay with Proximity triggers making taking people out easier and toys like the Jumper and Quadcopter makes mission more fun and interesting, Nethack, the game's Eagle Vision is also interesting, i like to think of it as Batman's Sensors from The Dark Knight, creating 3D visuals of the area, though I don't think that's their explanation of it. Also the Cops are so much better and harder to escape from, no more Lifting the bridges up to escape in seconds.The graphics are incredible and no notable FPS drops or Pop in problems.Multiplayer? I can only comment on how great Coop is as the WD2 Peristant Multiplayer has currently been disabled due to issues, but it's Hacker Invasion from WD1 is present so Obviously that is going to be great and the Bounty Hunter sounds like a blast! I will try to rememeber to update this when I have a chance to experience Persistent Multiplayer.TL'DR The game is a massive improvement from WD1, if you liked WD1 then it's a no brainer, if you like GTA 5 but wish it had hacking and proper Coop with missions then this is the game for you.Side Note; I hope this is a turning point for Ubisoft, no more lying and more great games since they have the right tools to do so.

There is way more PURPOSE in WATCHDOGS 2 fighting for the greater good & its has a much better story line to match. I'ts a shame the game is a lower resolution than PS4 & I I think it's time UBISOFT & other developers got with the times & jumped on the 1080p wagon as there's been plenty of great looking games in 1080p of late on xbox one. There is a little ALIASING unfortunately even on the ps4 version & while the game looks good it falls a little short if compared to The Division. this is a very welcome sequel however & is every bit the game WATCHDOGS 1 should have been & should provide PLENTY OF FUN TIMES AND LAUGHS for some time to come.

The UI is wonderful. You have so much information immediately available to you. Nudle Maps always has a mini-map in the lower left corner, giving you a good look at the area. Bringing up information on people gives you a crisp, clear window. Hacking offers a menu with easily recognizable icons, so you always know what your button presses will do.

Most importantly, Watch Dogs 2 offers a sense of humor running through it that the series badly needed. You don’t need miserable family death stories in a ludicrous game about “smart cities” and cartoony hackers. You need writing that leans into the silliness, that has a laugh at its own expense, which is exactly what this game gets.
